4 Steps..

My sweet little Will took 4 steps last night. He's going to be walking in no time now! Gash. I can't believe he's going to be one in a couple of weeks!!

He was to cute and so proud of himself!

NEWS FLASH!!!!!!

WILL HAS TOOTH NUMBER.... 2!! lol I didn't think this day would ever come. He cut his first tooth about a month ago.. Finally he got the 2nd one!

Catching up part 2.. Pumpkin patch

We went to Walden Farms last saturday to the pumpkin patch. We have never been to a pumpkin patch before it was pretty fun! Will loved the animals of course. We met my friends Melissa and Chandy out there.

Catching up.

Boy.. I have alot of catching up to do. I just don't seem to have enough time to blog.

First.. We went on vacation about 2 weeks ago. We went to visit Marshall's sister in Greeneville TN. She is the Director of the Hope Center. It's a christian based pregnancy center. They had a banquet to help raise money for the center. It was really cool to go hear the speakers and see how much God is blessing that place. I worked there on Friday. I had planned to set up an library for the center but instead I counted diapers and clothes! She had 3 van loads of donations come in that morning. It was CRAZY! Just in one van there were 78 packs of diapers. Some of the girls started coming in asking for things brining those sweet babies in. I got to get the diapers, clothes, wipes.. or whatever they needed. It was a great feeling to be helping those babies and mommies. If we were to move to there I would just work there. I loved it and it was so my thing!

I also got to meet the adoptive parents of a baby girl that will be born soon. The Hope Center also helps girls who want to give there babies up for adoption find couples wanting to adopt. I really think I was touched by this the most. I just got the best feeling in my heart when the adoptive mother told me they were the chosen couple for this baby. I really think it's because I know how much it hurts to want one so bad and feel like it will never happen for you. I just burst out in tears when she told me and I don't even know the people. I just sat with them at the banquet dinner. LOL. I felt so silly.. but my heart was so full of joy for them.

Next stop. Gatlinburg. We took Will to the aqaurium on Satuday. He really loved those fish. He kept trying to grab them and was going OHHHHHH.... OHHHHH.. LOL He's so cute! He also got his first taste of a milk shake. He really liked it. On Sunday we went to new found gap and got our picture made... Here are some pics.





It was really nice to just get away and have some fun..

He's Got A Tooth!

Will has been kinda grumpy this week. Not napping.. Not sleeping though the night... REALLY wanting to sleep with his Mommy and Daddy... Well tonight I think I found out why... I felt of his bottom gums tonight because he was doing this weird thing with his tongue... and I felt a little tooth pooking though. I think his two top teeth are on there way out to. Solid foods here we come!!

Diet..

So.. our family went on a diet in July. We have had a net loss of 120 pounds. Which is amazing! I am so proud of everyone! Joan and Jason have lost the most.

However, I have this one stinking pound that I loose and gain back the next week.. then I loose it and gain it back.. I am about sick of it! I am ready to MOVE ON! I had forgotten how hard being on a diet is. Back when I lost all kinds of weight several years ago. I was very unhealthy and it just fell off. What I didn't know is my body was going from a T2 diabetic to a T1. But it was nice to eat what ever and not gain weight! I guess it's better to be healthy with a good A1C than to look cute n stuff.

I just want to be skinny again. Not have fat rolls, big hips and a triple chin.

So.. is this walking??

On the porch...

I know many wonder where "on the porch came from". It's from Mom and Marshall's bird Sherman. When he first entered our family. He would say "cold on the porch" Well.. I just took that and ran with it.. I started saying. I am hungry on the porch, tired on the porch, hot on the porch,mad on the porch. Basicly added on the porch to everything... Crazy I know. You would be really surprised how catching it is. I now have lots of Friends adding on the porch to everything they say.... on friends husband is even saying it.

So.. Welcome to my life on the porch!
